ok so I’m pretty sure the age of the blog is over. finished. caput. 

So why am I starting a blog in 2022? 

My answer is simple. And comes in nine parts. 

1. Writing is hard. I need the practice.
2. You have to admit blogs are kinda fun and retro and queer. 
3. I think words speak louder than instagram posts.
4. I identify as a manic pixie dream girl. 
5. I am not as busy as I think I am. 
6. I want to spend more time thinking, and less time doing.
7. Daily pages bitch (see the artists way)
8. Tweets are too short, and books are too long. 
9. If I can write it down, maybe I can make it make sense.

The point is, I’m starting a blog, and if you’re reading this then welcome, welcome to the innermost workings of my mind. Here, posts exist in four categories. They are: 

1. SO WE MOVE (poems)
2. DEATH 2 (rants)
3. UNQUALIFIED OPINIONS (reviews)
4. JUST ME (confessions)

Each of these represents a different flavour of writing, a different part of me. Some of it’s bitchy, other bits are earnest. Sometimes funny, other times forlorn. 

I realise most blogs are about one thing. And that this is four blogs rolled into one. But I’m not trying to build a business or develop a brand. All I want to do is write. And this is where I will do it. 

So welcome to my diary. I hope you have a fabulous stay.
